Hawaiian Love, Jeanne McCann

Hawaiin Love5 friends beach holiday is radically interrupted when one of them hears a young boy’s cries for help on an idyllic Hawaiian beech. Shannon Dunbar makes a selfless and daring rescue which leaves her back shredded with coral cuts.  But Shannon’s life is changed forever when she is helped by the gorgeous senior paramedic, Simone Moreau, along for a training assessment.

As the 5 friends continue their holiday under Simone’s roof, how far will Shannon and Simone let their burgeoning romance go? Do they have the nerve to look beyond a holiday romance?

——————————

Another great romance by Jeanne McCann. Nice characters, good interplay between the friends and a good story line.

Shannon’s camera work allows her to quickly immerse herself in local life and find a role in Simone’s life, while Simone’s career shows the strength and dedication of a true professional. Both women are prepared to risk their lives to save others, providing plot  and tension as perfect bookends for the story.

Good local colour,  interesting minor characters and a lovely picture of life on the islands.

As always, full on sex scenes and dripping with soppy romance, but well worth a read.
